Sound Design
People love to ask, “What exactly is Sound Design?” And our translation to the question is. Sound Design is the art of manipulating sounds to achieve a feeling or a mood. As sound designers we may use a sound FX or something musical OR a blend of everything to achieve the goal. Sometimes the wrong sound can be the right sound. Audible Playground has over 150 thousand SFX to play with, plus we can custom Foley them as well. So keep in mind this process can take longer then lets just throw it all together, and is well worth the time to create it before you book your final mix.
Original Music
Sometimes your project needs focus and cries out for something a bit more unique and personalized. Something that licensed music will not supply. Something that will musically “Hit the Dog” in your spot. That something is; Original Music, and we totally get how you’re feeling. So we have filled our pool with talented composers who will score whichever genre is needed. You may need a song that connects to your product lyrically, or an epic score to support your film, or it’s possible you just need to be sonically branded. Whichever it is, we will compose it and mix it in Stereo or 5.1 for your final mix. And get this, if the music calls for it, we can even take you all the way out to Prague to see your score come to life with the Czech Philharmonic. As you can see, anything is possible.
Today we hear plenty of recognizable music on the air and some advertisers just love to attach their brand to a recognizable piece of music. Effectively it’s no wonder this phenomenon has really taken off, but hey, someone has to squeeze a four minute song into 30 seconds correctly. Here is where we shine and having a musical background is quite useful. After performing thousands of music edits we are always up for the challenge to see how many ways we can skin a song.
